Well the kid is only 18 years old and owns his 03 vert free and clear. But it sounds like he doesnt have a whole lot of cash lying around to just buy a gt bumper cover after buying the exhaust and the v6 adaptor kit AM sells, plus getting it installed. The way it sounded was that he wanted to keep his stock bumper and figure out a way to still have duals.

I've seen plenty of V6's running around here with the stock bumper and dual exhaust without cuts. Like someone mentioned it's probably not hard to get it shimmed a bit to hang slightly lower.

Just have it hang under the bummper, when he gets the money he can do it right and get a GT bummper.

Install is something most can do in a driveway with a couple wrenches and some jack stands.

I have a 99 and had flowmasters installed with just 2-1/2 chrome tips and it looks good and sound good to. mustbe99
