okay guys i need your help....
i have a convertable 92 5.0...... this car is my baby and she is a little sick right now....lol
i had a crack in my recovery tank for my radiator i went to auto zone and got some stuff to repair it. it is holding like a champ...but now she is overheating....like bad....i drove to work today (freeway) when i got to work i notice the water leaking out so i popped the hood and the whole engine was hot and sizzling.....when i first repaired the tank my "low coolent" light went off but after driving for a while it came back on.... the water is holding at the cold line but im at a loss for what is making it overheat.....any suggestions?

Check the radiator itself, make sure there is water in there. How long did ago did you fix and fill your tank? If it wasn't long ago you could have gotten an air pocket in the system and that will sometime cause it to over heat. Other than that you just have to check the usual suspects, like the thermometor, the fan(s) and the water pump and hoses.
