Default Door Panel Removal

Hey, I am band new to the forum and looking for help removing the door panel. I got everything off except the manual handle to roll the window up and down. It's a 95. Anybody got any answers for me??? Do I need a special tool to remove this handle?

I don't know for sure but the older GM's had a clip that you had to pull out to get the window handle off. Then when you put it back on you install the clip and push the handle back on.You could make a tool out of welding rod by bending a small hook into the end.I don't know if this will help you or not.

yeah. there should be a clip in the back and there is a special tool for this and it's cheap but you can probably wrestle it off there if you try really hard. Try to pry the door panel away from the window crank so you can see what's back there. Be careful you don't pry too hard and break something though.

If all else fails get a Hayne's manual. Idk why you're taking off the door panel but you sound like a DIY guy and could prolly use it for future stuff. good luck

I think there is a cover over the handle if you feel the edge of the handle part not the **** you should be able to pull the cover off and turn it to the side then under it there is a torqes bolt that you remove and slide it off the shaft.Or it could be the way everyone else said and you can push a pin out behing it ,there is a spring loaded cover that moves back so u can see the pin and knock it out
