Default 460 with c9 heads

I have the opportunity to purchase a 460 with a set of c9 429 heads. What type of performance will this combo make? What will be the approx. compression ratio?

Depends on the rotating assembly and what is done to the heads.

It has plenty of potential.

The short block is a stock 460 (low mileage) unit from a station wagon. The heads are c9ve castings. The heads will need a valve job and rockers. It comes with a polished weiand dual plane intake, polished one wire alternator, double roller timing set, and a polished timing cover. Is $400 a good price for this set up? I am very new to bbf, is there anything else I should be looking for?
