RE: how would i no- hydrolic clutch?
Lol, thats what I'm saying... and what started this whole thing is "when you were installing your exhaust" ... scary
Look man, i'm just gonna say it for you... you dont have a hydrolic clutch. It was your brake fluid that was low... why it was low is either because you have a leak, or your pads are in poor condition. It has nothing to do with you grinding gears, that is either the syncro's in your tranny going out, or just some poor shifts. Give us more info on that problem... Does your clutch engage right at the floor?
Some F.Y.I There is no difference in the "Clutch" it's self. Hydrolic and manual are referring to the way you disengage your clutch from the flywheel. Hydrolic (uses fluid and cylinders) = easy clutch pedal. Manual = tougher clutch pedal. The actual clutch is unchanged and does the same job.

Haynes or Chiltons Manual my man. Whenever I work on a car I've never worked on before thats newer than 95, I always buy one. Cheap insurance and easy reference for any questions I might have to start with.
These forums are great but if you ask a question that seems to easy to answer you get sarcastic banter instead.
