351M to 303/351 Motor Mount/Crossmember?
I have picked up a 351M and was wondering if anyone could tell me who sells motor mount to crossmember adapters to do this. The 351M has three bolts to the block and normally gets tied in with a single stud. The 302 is two hole to the block and then a single long bolt that goes to the reciever on the cross member.

Try www.summitracing.com or maybe www.fordracingparts.com you might have to call them to tell them what you are looking for.

Supposedly a 351M - the M is for Modified. It's a deriviative of the 351C. It actully has the same bellhousing bolting arrangement as the big block Ford motors - if that helps. It was put in to large Ford Full Size vehicles and also trucks.

I'm an idiot I knew that[&:]So what is the problem your having??The motor wont line up on the mount? The mounts have different hole so they can be moved around, you know that right? And why do you need the crossmember??The tranny should be in the same position still

RE: 351M to 303/351 Motor Mount/Crossmember?
The crossmember had a "tube" to recieve the single long bolt that is normally used to attach the 302/351 motor mount to the frame - the 351M motor mounts have a single stud coming off them. So what I'm looking for is how to I make the transition. Is it a new crossmember - designed with the 351M motor mount in mind, or doesn someone have a motor mount that goes from the three bolts (to the block) to the "tube" that recieves the single bolt?
