Had to take my stang to the dealship, due to an unknown clanking noise that was audioblile when driving slow....it seemed to come from underneath as the tires turned.
Anyway took it in, and was told the rear axle was redone, and that after inspection of brakes and everything else the car was fine.
Well as I drove off, I could still here the noise, I even had the mechanic sit in the car with me, but with all the outside noise he didnt hear anything, and assured me that the car was okay, and if it became louder, to simply bring it back in.
I am just scratching my head, although glad I brought it in to find out the real axle needed to be done anyway.


Any input, or anyone else with a similar problem/suggestion.
