my abs light and traction light came on today, and stayed on.. any ideas what it could be.. i think i may have a small brake leak somewhere to bc my brake light has been comming on once in a while when i brake. but would that cause the abs and traction light to come on.

 

If you were doing a burnout or donuts, the abs light comes on and stays on for a bit. I learned this from experience. For me it was a speed sensor or something.

 

A fault can make the light come on. Check the easy stuff first, like broken wires, cracked tone rings and fill that brake fluid.

Beyond that these are very complicated systems and without getting the codes read, you might be guessing forever.
