Default Speedometer Recalibration after wheel change??

Does the speedometer need to be calibrated after installing bigger wheels? I know on the newer vehicles we have to recalibrate the speedometer with the new tire size and wheels, but i haven't read on any tire threads about anybody doing any kinds of calibrations?[/B]

Well you don't "need to" recalibrate it, just get used to it..

Only if the overall diameter has changed. Use a GPS to compare your present numbers.
