Howdy,

Has anyone successfully repaired the mechanical odometer and trip odometer on a 1996 or similar Mustang GT? Ford wants a fortune for a new cluster, the aftermarket options for this year are virually none, and I don't trust a used high mileage unit ala Ebay. I've heard it could be as simple as replacing a gear or an issue with the speed sensor.

Any help and possible success stories most appreciated!
