I would check/flush the brake fluid too....all that power does no good if you cant stop it...

Hope I'm not offending anyone with that because there was a time I liked 94-95's. Test drove one. Thought it was slow, then looked up the acceleration times. Situation normal.

Get the codes read. This will really narrow down the guessing game.
