I just bought my first Mustang yesterday, a 2002 convertible with 3.8L, and it seems like the theft light blinks whenever car is turned off, whether or not keys are left in, doors are locked, keys removed, etc. Is this normal? It has a fairly new battery. Would this drain the battery over a period of a week or 2 without starting it?
