I'm not too concerned about staying warm inside the car.. Fords have pretty good heaters.
I'm concerned about driving on ice & snow with 260hp. I doubt the traction control will be quick enuf to save my bacon each time the wheels wanna spin..

greystang if you going to get a beater for the winter i would suggest getting either a front wheel drive or 4x4.. i had a tacoma 2 wheel drive with snow tires and my friend had a honda civic with no chains on and he did circles around me in the snow.. talk about me wanting to drive that truck over the edge of the cliff..
