Default convertible top issues

my 03 mustang top is having issues - to be brief, the pass side lags when going up and is the first side to go down as well - i found a leaking lift cylinder so got a new one and changed it (bleed system as well) and still the same problem - i decided to switch cylinders to see if the new cylinder just slower and nope - i switched the lines from side to side to see if that was the problem and nope - so im thinking something in the frame so i oiled it and nope - after all this i noticed too that when i put the top up it is off alignment whereas i have to push it a lil forward and an inch to the left to get the holding pins in place to lock it down, now that problem is new since all the top lag troubleshooting --- so i replaced lift cylinder, switched them from side to side, switched the lines, repeatedly bleed the system, oiled all joints and the pass lag is still there and the closing is off alignment when i put the top up - any ideas - im left to think the frame got bent through all this - thank's

Yep sounds like something is bent. Good detective work otherwise!
