I have a 2008 GT that 6 months ago I added a CAI and a brenspeed tune. Yesterday I took it in for a state inspection (Texas) and it failed, 2 O2 sensors not ready and catalyst not ready. My first question is could this have been caused by not switching back to the stock tune.

Second question, If that's not the case and I take it in for warranty I know I need to put the stock tune back in but is it necessary to remove the CAI and put the stock air cleaner back on?

disable your rear 02 sensors with your tuner...

 

Brenspeed turns the O2 sensors off. They did it to mine too. Just email them and tell them you need an emission tune and they will send you one that turns them back on. No big deal and you will probably have it in a couple days.
