Run away from the deal immediately! Run away before your emotion for the car sets in. Don't bother taking it to a mechanic. Don't bother even talking to the guy anymore. You're buying a car with thousands of moving parts..not a toaster...

Start looking for another car right now. A Stang with a clean title and without a liar for a seller.

I was all set to get in your corner about a salvage car. It's not always the worst thing in the world...But this guy sounds like a real *******. And a BS'er. Don't call this guy again. Nothing good can come of this deal.

Besides all that. $8500 is too much for that car.

For $8500.00 you don't need to settle for a bad car man. Shop around, check private sellers locally online. You'd be amazed what you find.

definately sounds sketch, but he could have several vehicles for sale and could have made an honest mistake, but i doubt it.

8500$ will get you a very nice clean title mustang, theres NO REASON to try to rush to buy one with a salvage title.... keep looking.

Ok here dude, I found Three stangs in 8500 range (actually two of the are below.) super clean with good titles. Now these are from the SF bay area but everything is expensive here so i sure you can find a great deal in TX. This took me five minutes to look and find. So run away from this deal and yourself a great mustang.

Just some FYI..That car with a clean title and 89k miles in "rough" condition (meaning it had major repairs) according to Edmunds is only worth $6,968.00

Again...lol walk away.
