Getting a GT that's a 2005+ in that price range might be tricky. But take my word on this, it is much better to get a car in good working condition then to get a newer car with problems.
I'm not going to lie, sometimes a car with a salvaged title can still be a great car. But I wouldn't touch one with a 50 foot pole, especially one with repaired damage.
I understand you're excited, buying a car is really exciting. Especially when you're young and the car in question is a Mustang. But you need to make this decision with your head, not your heart, otherwise you'll be paying with your wallet.
If it were me, I would buy an older model with the features you want and lower miles. But that's JMO.
Good luck with the purchase! I'm sure you'll love whatever you end up with.

I would advise to definitely run away from this one. Look at how many people posted telling you to do this. It is no fun learning things the hard way especially when you buy a car and then find out it has major problems. No fun looking at it sitting when you can not drive it. The next thing is I do not think you are mature enough for this car. Reason being your post on how you want to drive fast all the time. Have you even checked into how much it is going to cost to insure? You 16 years old and a 2005+ mustang gt = huge insurance premium.
