on my small block im running an external magnafuel fuel pump. My problem im having is that the fuel pressure i have sset at 7 every once in a while it will climb and max the gauge out 15 lbs. If i shut the pump on and off mid drive it will go back to 7lbs. the regulators are fairy new and so is the pump. ANy ideas? surge? mayb

 

If the fuel regulator is vacuum actuated, you probably have a vacuum leak leading to the fuel regulator. Good luck...
