Default SUPER NEWBIE...Fuel Pump

I just picked up an '88 GT Conv and the fuel pump sounds like an electric shaver on steroids. i'm going to go ahead and just replace it BUT...i have read that stock pumps are 110LPH...if I want to bump it up to let's say a 155LPH or higher, do I need to worry about anything with the regulator and/or rails and injectors. thanks for being patient with me on such a newbie question.

Unless your motor has got a bunch of performance mods etc, a higher volume fuel pump won't give you any benefits. The fuel pressure regulator will limit it anyways. The stock fuel pump will do just fine.
