Ripped off
oh...try and research your merchants or ebay sellers before you buy...if you do have to do a credit card chargeback it hurts your credit rating a bit....you do not want to do too many in a short period of time. if using ebay always pay with paypal with a credit card as your funding source....if you have to do a charge back then go through paypal first..if they don't refund you then you go to your credit card.
be careful when paying with paypal as paypal makes it difficult to actually pay with your credit card as any credit cad chargebacks you do come back to paypal and they may have to eat the cost.
paypal would much rather you use your bank account to pay because if you do a chrgeback with paypal and the seller has no money in thier paypal account, paypal can say "sorry we tried to get your money back but your seller has no funds available" they will then wash thier hands of it....if oyu used your credit card, paypal will have to eat hte cost of your chargeback as your credit card company will refund your money.
