My brother has a 01 bullitt and hes having a problem with a misfire on cylinder 3. We tried to change spark plugs, fuel injectors, coils and still misfires. Cat would glow red we had it tested and its fine. When we pulled the spark plug on cylinder 3 it had coolant on it and its the only cylinder thats black inside. It still runs but when pushed to high speeds it runs horrible and doesn't sound good. Any help would be appreciated.
Ya white smoke every so often when redlined or from a stop to go.
White smoke. That's a sign that coolant is getting in the combustion chamber, through the head gasket. Probably around the area of that #3 plug. Just guessing. White smoke means WATER.

That's what I was thinkin'. Could be signs of the headgasket goin' south.
