Default Can 1985 Non Convt doors be made to work on a convrt?

I have an 1985 mustang convt and have not found very many good doors for it (locally). I have found severaly hard top doors though. I know the car was created a hardtop and modified and my question is how can you change the hard top doors to convertable doors? Has anyone done this? Thanks.

I am about 95% sure that the conv doors have additional structure welded internally to help with body flex and impact energy. The Fox bodied conv flexed quite a bit as it was, I am uncertain how bad the additional flex would hurt the body-in-white stiffness, but I bet it wouldn't be good.

Pretty sure convertible and hardtop doors are not interchangeable. The only exception may be T-top doors.
