Hey, got a 94 Gt i did a 'check engine light' fault code test and it came up with code 189. Looked up the code and it relates 189 - Adaptive Fuel rich limit reached, left side. Even with Wide Open Throttle the car runs rough, took a spark plug out and is black compared to the right bank.

Am i right in saying that the lambda/ oxygen sensor is faulty?

yes...you have a o2 not relaying the right info.....maybe try plulling it and give it a good cleaning or replace both at the same time
