i thought studded tires were illegal....or maybe they are here.....

some states they are illegal other states have certain months like from november 1st-feb 15th, you need to look into it if you need them, and you cant go over 55 or you will start to throw studs out of your tires.

First of all let me say that I live in South Texas so I have very little interest in winter only tires. I do drive my '96 GT quite a bit but for our very rare snow day last year I was in a front drive Integra. I remember reading an article several years back that highly praised the Bridgestone Blizzak. Technology may have changed since then but I read about them out of interest. I do remember the article saying that the wore heavily in non snow/ice conditions so they need to be on a spare set of rims.
