Default Daytime running lights????

Is there a way to dis-engage the daytime running lights on my 2010 V6 Convertible? Am I just missing something??? When the car is turned over and in park the headlights are not on. When the car is in drive, they are on. This all seems to be right for the daytime running lamps. Is there switch or something? My car does not have fog lights, if that helps any. Thanks in advance for any help you guys might have.

Just had the daytime running lights turned off in my 05. Had to take it to the dealer and they hooked it up to their computer and entered a code from Ford turning them off.

No problem. My wife took the car in to have them turned off, and later in the day picked it up with the dealer saying it can't be done. Said there was not a option in the smart junction box to turn them off. I had to go back and tell the service manager it can be done and to contact Ford to get the code. Took it back a second time and they figured it out. Make sure you tell them it can be done, and they need to get the code from Ford.
