Question quad shocks...

I've heard you can remove the factory quads and use control arms in their place, is this true and when im ordering, would I need the upper or lower?

What's the end goal? Wider wheels and bigger tires? Could keep the quads and just flip them over to allow for more clearance. But, all depends on whatcha gonna do.

I ran my 88LX with no quads for years. Wheel hop with street tires = yes. Running M/T slicks at the track = not likely.

I'm running slightly wider tires.firestone firehawk wide oval,2754517 if I remember correcet. Their not rubbing or anything, it just seems like I'm getting tire hop, and with tcs on the *** end still seems loose. I'm really trying to figure out if its the upper or lower control arms that I'm supposed to use, honestly ill most likely order the b&m combo kit,.but If I find apatial set locally, I'd like to know its not wasted money buying the wrong part.

the lowers are what you are most likely after.. The good ones have a heim joint on one end and a bushing on the other.

Read this thread as well. It will help a lot. https://mustangforums.com/forum/susp...ion-guide.html
