Well I have 1982 mustang with a stock auto tranny my engine is high proformance. I want to go with high proformance manual transmission . I was leading towards a tko-600 or a t-45 or a t-56. Any advice would be helpful.

 

I have a 84 Capri. Mine has always had a manual. The T-5 in it would not hold up to the stock engine with just a few mods. I 2002 I got a super heavy duty T-5 from Ford motorsports. My engine now puts out 400+HP and the SHD T-5 has been holding up good.
At that time I looked at a TKO, but it had to have a different bell housing.
