I just bought a 2002 mustang gt. I have a rocker switch next to my coin slot in the console. I have no idea what it does. Its not fog lamps have another switch for that.

Like 96t said, a picture will help. Are you sure it's not a dummy switch? I'd pull the switch and trace the wires using a volt meter. Shouldn't take very long. With the key on, hook one lead to each side of the switch. You should most likely have 12 volts. Now start pulling fuses, one at a time until you lose the 12 volt reading. Now you know what circuit the switch is one and it should be pretty easy to trace from there. Hope this helps. From your friends at www.autopart-performance.com.

Could be a kill switch. Try starting the car then turning the switch on & off.
