Idk how much it would cost but at this point that car isn't going to go down in value, so even if you keep it and just restore a little at a time once its in decent shape you can enjoy it yourself or sell it for a lot more than what you would get now. If you go used parts it won't be nearly as much. How many miles are on it?

That car as a hatchback is what my racecar is based on.

the idea my fiance and i have is to possibly invest in a pair of 1965 shells and use parts/ money from our 2 current mustangs to fix them up and have them, the 1965 is simply a much sexier car than both of the ones we have
