Default Mustang Advice

So I've decided that a late model Mustang GT would be the car for me after having some older muscle cars, the comfort level and reliability is the determining factor.
So any advise on the years 05-06-07, like does one year have better this or that, packages to look for etc.
I want an auto trans for sure as the age factor has crept into the equation. And of course if anyone knows of a particularly nice, low mileage GT for sale in the South west part of the country please pm me
Any help is appreciated, thanks

later years in a given model year are generally better, all things being equal the last year cars might tend to have minor improvements as the manufacturer gets data from cars on the road and can make small changes to avoid warranty work. mustangs have generally always been a solid reliable car because they really don't push the limits with them in terms of engine/tranny tech, rather ford uses more of the tried and trued stuff. o course this seems to be changing from 2011 on up.
