Hi, I was pulling my headers off to dent them in a little bit so they would sit flush on the block and eliminate an exhaust leak. Once I was done I started the car and rolled it outside to let it warm up. It warmed up for a couple minutes then I came outside to drive it around to see if the exhaust leak had gone. When I put it in gear and started to drive it, it shut off and some smoke came from up under the dash, not like engine smoke but like electronic smoke (slow moving and concentrated stream). I realized I must have knocked a wire lose removing the headers and found the electronic choke wire hanging and touching the block. I reconnected the wire, but the car will not stay running now. I am not sure how this would cause a problem, but who knows, any ideas? The car ran great before I pulled the headers off.
