Trunk and door lock malfunction

Trunk and door lock malfunction
Our 2011 GT's door locks and trunk release are inoperative. We have taken to the ford dealer twice but they can't reproduce the problem. They have replaced the fuse both times and it blew again this weekend, so now the doors and trunk will not open. Has this happened to anyone else out there? It seems the Crossroads Ford is at a loss as how to solve it. Extremely frustrated. Surely this problem is not unique to our GT alone. Advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks. That is exactly what Carmax said when they told us to take it to a Ford dealer because it is covered under warranty. Unfortunately Cossroads Ford in Indian Trail, NC did not concur. This is the third fuse that has blown since we went to them in July and that is why we are going to another dealer.

Welcome to the forum! My name is Deysha with Ford Service, and I agree with you getting a second opinion. Also, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number. I’ll get this looked into.

Another failed attempt. Two wasted days at a second Ford dealership with no results. It appears we have the only Ford Mustang in the free world with this problem and it has defied the collective intelligence of two dealerships worth of technicians. I asked them if they consulted with the engineers at Ford HQ who designed the car. The reply was that they use the diagnostic books that the engineers write.
