Default 2006 v6 Engine type?

I have a 2006 V6 'Stang, and I'm trying to sell it. Some of the buyers are asking me what kind of v6 engine I have; apparently the options are Standard, Premium, and Deluxe.

I bought this car used from someone else and I have no idea how to answer this. One of the buyers is willing to pay more if I can get this information.

I've checked all over the engine, and I've also checked the manufacturing information on the door but I've found nothing that makes sense in plain english.

Does anyone here know how to figure out exactly what kind of engine I have in this car?

Thanks!

After further research this seems to actually be a reference to the model/trim type.

Does anyone know how to tell which kind of trim/model I have?

The '05-'10 V6 is all the same...just a 4.0L V6. Standard, deluxe and premium are just trim options.Standard and deluxe are basic cars while premium tends to have leather, upgraded stereo, power seat, etc.

What all options does it have? Google the vin#. Also, I think there's a website where you can actually see the original window sticker, too.

I've checked all those websites, and it seems that they have a rolling expiration date. None that I've found can provide information for a car from 2006. If someone has one that does I'd be stoked.

My car has a single cd player, cloth seats, and 4 instrument panels (mileage, rpm, temperature, gas). So I'm pretty sure that makes it the standard right?

yup sounds standard. I guarantee the person who sold it to you would of said something about it being an upgraded model in order to make a better sell.

TBH, whether it's a basic, premium, deluxe, whatever, there aren't significant enough differences in a 14 yr old car that will make any real difference to a buyer. Most leather seats will be ripped. most cloth will be stained.

What's more important is how clean the interior/exterior is and how good it runs. Is the paint messed up? Major stains or tears in the upholstery? Rust, etc.

Major decision makers are those plus, engine size (V6 or V8) and transmission (Auto/Manual), coupe or vert.

The trim lines are pretty worthless at this point IMO.
