Hello

What would cause the fuel gauge to stick at 1/2 tank when there is less than 1/2 tank of gas left?

The poor guy who bought my 01 just called asking me if I had an issue before (which I didnt)

I replaced the fuel pump in the car about a month before I sold it, but never had issues with the gauge.

Just curious if something like this could be a gauge issue or a float issue.
