just bought this car. sometimes fires and stays running, other times fires and stalls right away, but starts and stays running on second or third try. runs and drives fine. only code was cam position sensor, which I replaced, but still has the issue. also had charging system checked and was told voltage regulator in alternator was bad and was over charging. anybody experience the stalling issue with the 4.6?

this is common, replace or rebuild the alternator, but beware the el cheapo aftermarket alts. they have a very high failure rate. once the alt is replaced, clear the codes and you should be all set
