i have a 94 5.0 and have a weird noise coming from the underside of the car, it sounds like something dragging on the ground but nothing is dragging or it sounds like something metal rubbing on the metal of the tire while im driving, but it only seems to happen when i have weight in the car cuz it doesn't happen while its just me, any ideas?

 

Something suspension related, perhaps? Try posting in the forum for your model year.

 

Is it only at any certain speeds? Over bumps does it change?

 

Stuff like this requires getting under the car and looking for evidence of the rubbing. Exhaust hanger broke letting the exhaust move into the driveshaft is a good place to start.

 

When the throw out bearing goes bad it tends to sound like something dragging.
