Wanted to keep up with this for 2015

So the answer in my opinion and many others has been a big NO.

I have a friend with a 2007 GT and it's red. He has more $ then brains but that's a different story.

He bought the Air Raid Throttle Spacer knowing it would not add anything but he drilled and tapped it for his Nitrous Express System so he can have a red plate to match his red car

So in that sense it worked for him LOL

By far the biggest change I noticed in my car is going from the 3.31 gear to 4.10

 

Throttle body spacers are the new "snake oil". On a carburetor car the spacer did change the air/fuel mix and runner length. On our cars - all they do is lighten your wallet. The air and fuel are mixed in the chamber so moving the throttle body 1/2" isn't doing anything. If they worked, then why isn't someone offering a 6" throttle body spacer to affect runner length?

The only time they work is what your friend did. Use it as the template for nitrous plate system.

If you have money to waste on a spacer then you might as well send me your money.

It blows my mind that a) these companies have the audacity to even produce these things and b) people fall for it.

 

The only spacers that actually do provide any kind of benefit are the upper to lower intake spacers. They lengthen the intake runners a little and help keep the upper intake cooler. The effect is minimal at best though.

The throttle body spacers fall in the same category as the resistor boxes, and electric blowers lol
