do i need sub frame connectors if i plan on getting a roll cage or are both recomended?

Both are good but have, nothing to do with each other. Of course you know what the roll cage is for. As for the sub frames, they help to keep your car stable/ straight, or whatever. Good to have.

For the stiffest possible chassis you need both, the sub frames help alot but you will notice a huge differance when combined with a 6 point cage. The cage will have a huge effect on a uni-body car as far a stiffness.

Def. A cage with some SFC's will be like giving your car Viagra. Everything will get stiff.

both if you look at almost any nmra car there gonna have both and its not to just add extra weight. it will really help you out. also get weld in not just bolt ons they are a little better.
