Supposedly-Mellow Exhaust Setup Producing HORRID RASP!!! Help?!
I'm mostly clueless about this stuff so please excuse my noobish questions and help me out.
-2014 V6 Auto
-BBK Ceramic Shorty Headers
-MRT Catted H-Pipe
-Magnaflow Street Axlebacks
I carefully picked each one of these parts on the basis of wanting to maximize depth of tone and minimize rasp. What I ended up with, was some of the nastiest rasp I've ever heard on a Mustang (with the exception of those idiots who go with LTH's + OR/X + ATAKs or some equally stupid setup like that). The rasp occurs at anything higher than 3K rpms. It started occurring once the mid-pipe was installed.
The guy at the exhaust shop said that it's because I've increased the airflow by a lot and it's putting a ton of pressure on the glass pack mufflers. Based on my research though I've concluded it's most likely the mid pipe that is vibrating like that.
Is there any way to put resonators in the mid pipe to calm it down? If not, would a shop be able to weld a stock GT h-pipe onto my V6?
Thanks

FWIW, I am also planning on welding on some GT over-axle pipes, as well as either GT500 mufflers or the quad tip Magnaflow Competition axlebacks. If part of the problem is that my current mufflers can't handle the airflow volume, then this should solve the problem.
I would love for my car to sound like this:
