SPARK PLUGS
Steeda recommends NGK. I use the "V" plugs in my '98 GT. The NGK and Denso Iridium type plugs are used alot with Cobras. From everything I have heard, it is more significant the type of plug you use the higher your HP goes up. In more modest applications, there is little to no difference in running conditions. Cobras do tend to react more favorably than GT's to most all mods due to their 32V motors and higher power/torque ratings. Double platinum plugs are usually very good as well. I believe most Ford factory plugs for GT's and Cobras are Motorcraft double platinum. I have read many articles and forums where, for whatever reason, Bosch plainium plugs are not recommended for use in Mustangs. May be BS, but I have seen this over and over again. Here is a wild new plug that shows some real promise. I believe most of the testing has been done on Cobras at the track where they have proven to drop time off of runs. Check out the whole site and do a search on E3 spark plug testing. Here's the link:

Forgot to mention you can buy the E3 plugs at W.C. Whitney for around $8.99 each. Iridium type plugs usually cost $10 to $12 each.

I use the Bosch Platinum 4's in my V6 it changed my gas mileage for the better and also made my car run smoother. Not only that but I have no proof but I think it improved my performance. I havent heard about not using Boschs thats weird I hope my car is fine [
