I have a 1995 Mustang V6 Coupe and the windshield wiper switch will only turn the wipers on when you press the washers on. I have not found any fuses blown. Do I replace the switch or could it be a relay problem?

 

I am going to go ahead and order the switch because the relay is really expensive. I was hoping for a quick response so I wouldn’t be just throwing parts at it. I will report back after it is installed.

 

That switch was very problematic even when those cars were new.

 

Changing the switch took care of the inoperable wiper problem.
