Default Identify mystery part

Hey guys, can anyone tell me what the part is I have circled in red is, it has a couple vacuum lines going to it and an electrical connection. Was trying to install the little vacuum line harness, the one just to the right of the red circle with the white sku tag wrapped around it, ($55 at the dealership, ALL it is is 3 tiny plastic tubes with 4 rubber elbow boots on it wrapped in plastic wire loom, like one dollar worth of stuff, what a rip off,), anyway I tried to yank the old elbows off the part that's circled and one of the plastic tubes it attaches too on that part snapped off. Part looks expensive, if 3 little tubes was $55 then this thing will have me selling a kidney to buy it.

Well it seems as if only my Mustang has one of these, I guess I have a special, "one of" model

There aren't as many people with the 4.0 as there used to be who are active. And posting in a general section, rather than the 4.0 section, you may not get many views. Those who have the 4.0 may never look at a "general" section posting.

But there are some difference between model years, what is the year of your car?

Every generation has its own section. The entire list is on the main page

Thanks, although EVERY Mustang engine for about the past 50 years has an EGR valve, in fact every car has one, you'd think that at least one of the almost 1900 people that looked at the thread could have identified it
