Default wheel bearings shot?

what woudl it cost me to go have them replaced....that is my rear wheel bearings? what would it cost for parts and whats an average labor cost?

best thing is just call a couple of local shops and get a price. labor and parts cost diffent depending on where you are.

I would shop around and get the parts myself for the best price I can find. Then call around for the best price for labor. That way you will be saving money already. Remember the shops all mark up the price on their parts. Just make sure the shop you choose is good.

we just did them in my moms stang. hers were like 28 bucks apiece from napa, and we installed them ourselves. its not too hard, as long as you know how to do some manual labor. go get a haynes or chiltons repair manual and you will be fine. they are like 15-20 bucks, and are based on a total teardown and rebuild of a car. they have absolutely everything the average person would need to know, and they save you a TON of money on labor costs.
