1995 mustang question
Hi, I just recently bought a 1995 mustang convertible it has 27,000 miles on it and im having a problem where my car is shimming or shaking whatever you would like to call it. it doesnt occur all the time but when it does happen its usually between 35-45 mph. i just found this statement on an internet site about common mustang problems and im wondering if anyone thinks this is the problem or if you have any suggestions, the only thing is the article i read about was for the 1994 model mustangs and i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows the solution. thanks
Automatic transmission: The automatic transmission is notorious for shuddering or vibrating under light acceleration or when shifting between third and fourth gear above 35 mph. It requires that the transmission fluid be changed and that only Mercon fluid be used. (1994)

I have a 95 gt vert with 45000 miles and doesnt shake or anything like that. Change the transmission fluid and see if that actually does fixes it. I will ask around, since your having problems, Im sure I will eventually.. Good luck
I have a 95 mustang convertible with 84000 miles on it with the exact problem as you. It would shudder at 20-40 mph. It is common on these year mustangs because of the automatic tranny.
To fix it just replace your tranny and torque converter fluid. Get a chiltons book to help you or if you have a lotta money to throw away have a shop to do it. Once I replaced my tranny fluid it shifted smoother than when I bought it. I recommend doing it yourself, it wasn't too hard.
