Default 05 stang leaking trans. fluid

I took my 2005 Ford Mustang V6 with auto transmission to a friend's shop for an oil change and now, four months later, my gears are slipping. I looked under the car and noticed the transmission fluid basin plug was half screwed on and there was red fluid dripping from it. I have not discussed this with my friend. I want to know a few things first.

What are the chances that my friend or one of his flunkie employees is at fault?

I tightened the plug. Can I just add fluid myself, or is the transmission now shot?

Thanks.

Answer to question one.... Hard to say who`s at fault but those plugs just dont come loose. Hmmmm. Youll never know.
Answer to question two....You can add fluid yourself. You should be ok if you caught it in time.

Thanks for the quick response! One more question:

How do I add fluid? There's no dipstick on the V6 auto.
