it could be his favorite forum, yet having few posts. maybe hes not into the tech threads. but, yes, no dipstick. just stick your pinkey into the top hole, and if its just barely under the hole, its fine.

 

I just got through rebuilding an LT1 out of a 94 impala to go into my 97 S-10, along w/ a T-56. I know these motors and trannys VERY well so if you get some more tech q's, just let me know. We were all a rookie at one time man.
