What Cam ?
You ALWAYS need to use valve springs that are designed for the cam you are using. To do other wise would be courting TOTAL disaster.
New valves will not be needed.
If you have new heads then is real easy to put new springs on them before you install on the car. Buy ( or rent, barrow etc.) a valve spring compressor on just do it. I would use new split locks also....
Maybe I'm chicken sh-t but I always feel better about it. Experience speaking here.....

BTW, I like Comps cams. Summit sells them or you can by local......
Ford's 'E' cam isn't too bad either. 220@.050 and lift is .498. I sounds like it would be easy on valve train parts....
Be ready for a possible rough idle with most any aftermarket type cam......

Well......I decided that if i get the GT-40 heads then i will get a cam to match the stock specs. My fuel system ?.......I have a BBK fuel pressure reg. I'm not too sure what i'll set it at. Also, do 95 GT's come with ford racing fuel injectors ? I noticed taht i have ford racing fuel injectors, i'm not sure if they are factory or not. But....i probably wont be replacing those anyways. Any cheap suggestions about fuel system ?
Also i started some minor dissassembaly today. This is gonna be a long winter......

i think frpp fuel injectors will be just fine, but not sure what lph they are set at if they are stock, but if u upgrade the injectors u have to get the maf to match.Accel makes injectors also, but i'm not sure about anyone else. u prob want to upgrade the fuel pump, they aren't to expensive for an aeromotive. another cheap suggestion...lucas gas/engine lube.it's good for the injectors and engine. that stuff will make your car run nice if u use it bout once every 2 months. on the note of the cam, i'd go with maybe comp cams or see maybe if edelbrock has something in your range.
When i do put on my BBK fuel pressure reg. what should it be set at ? Or is this a thing i set out of preference ? Also, should i get an upgraded mass airflow sensor ?
if you get a mass air sensor, your gonna need to get the injectors, and vice-versa. if you do only one then the computer will have a prob. if you go with like 24# or 30# injectors, you'll need like a 70mm m.a.s. i'm not sure bout the fuel pressuer regulator, but you will need a gauge to see your psi of fuel pressure, mine is set around 30 but i can smell fuel coming from the exhaust, so i am trying to find a tuning shop to work out that and a few other kinks b/c i bought my car used at this set-up and instead of changing it myself i just want them to do it for prime dyno output. when u call bout the fuel pressure reg. for ordering, the company can help your most likely with the question of adjusting and/or appropriate psi for your specific application, b/c it depends on your fuel pump( not sure), injector size and stuff like that. good luck man.
my fuel pressure regulator is set at 40psi, which is within factory tollerences. Seems to run clean, doesnt smell like its running rich, and i have the stock fuel sysetm with 24lb injectors.
