RE: exhaust question
yeah i figured the numbers in the area im no worried about the hp gain to much, the sound is the what makes it all worth while, but yeah i was paying 3200 for insurance on my fox... but i was able to get myself as an "occasional" driver on the insurance instead of a primary, so its now at about 2400... my parents pay half of the insurance because im doin good in school, so i pay half the insurance and pay for the entire car... but yeah im pumped for the new car, i have plans for it and i dont even have it yet lol.. 3 more months buti dont think its gunna go up to much more then it is now.. cuz even tho its a GT its a newer car, prolly safer in a few ways too...

RE: exhaust question
? i do not know of any shop making a custom exhaust and it being cheaper than buying a cheap setup and intsalling it yourself. ya, the best exhaust is the mandrel, slug inside, type. it has total eveness throughout. youd be best off getting a 2.5 inch setup with stock everything else. maybe up to 3 inch with some medium mods. and yeah, id say in the 20 rwhp range.

RE: exhaust question
yea where i live they had about 4 places that made exhausts in house, but not sure bout what brand muffler. i know 3 guys that went that route, but all of the cars were tuners. they all had nice sounds and one of my friends seen nice gains in mpg. and all of the systems came out cheaper with the shop install. me though i already have a exhaust set-up. flowtech headers, off road h-pipe, 2.5 flowmaster exhaust. loud as hell, i have a 5.0 and it puts out more decibels than a guy i know with a 454
