01 Mustang GT40 engine
i think you are wanting a ford gt motor

if so it can be done it is a 5.4l dohc supercharged engine.
but there are diffences between that 5.4 and the your run of the mil 5.4 the block is the big difference. a good machineshop and make it work just fine it will bolt up to your tranny no problem but there isn't any provisions made for the starter, and its a dry sump block. it can be converted but its gonna be expensive.
i would say your best bet if thats what you want is to buy a good 5.4 l block i think world prodcuts makes a alumium 5.4 mod block. then go to ford and get the gt heads and then kb to get a super charger run a 03/04 wireing and computer with a tune you should be able to get just about the same results as running a gt motor and may end up a little cheaper.

ya think the fr500 heads would be better, easier and cheaper(if he would build it up himself)? or would there be emissions issues( not like i personally would care)?.. i still say it would be easier to just go with the cammer if it's the new GT engine he wants.
