most people go with a 408 it is a modifed 400m crank ya use chevy 454 rods and then you can buy the pistons form pretty much any good piston manfacurer. your block will also have to be preped for all of this.

I wouldn't think you would want to use the stock parts even if they would fit (they usually won't). You put a stroker in to get a lot more power so its best to go with robust aftermarket parts that can handle it well.

A longer stroke crank, the shorter con rods are so the tops of pistons do not pass the top of the cylnders, they go low in the cylnders, more CCs= more HP and more Torque, longer stoke= much more Torque, and then you can go with a biger bore and get more HP and TQ agan, so you can take a 351w bore it and stoke it to 427, with some good mods you can get over 500HP and 500lps of TQ. I hope this helps.

They have a crank out its a 393 ci crank it use stock 351 rods and a 302 piston that would be the cheapest kit I know of.and with good C/H/I make big H/P. But I would keep the rpms down below 6000. Scat makes this Crank and you can also buy it from Ford,Scat also so make it for them.it will bolt right in to a Windsor block but you may have grind the block some for clearance at the bottom of the bores just like a stroker 302 motor.I am not sure as I have not built a 393 yet.
